U.O. Group has a superior safety program as evidenced by our various safety awards.  Our safety program is monitored and upgraded on a continual basis by our Director of Corporate Safety.

UOG is dedicated to the protection of its employees from on-the-job injuries.  All employees of UOG have the responsibility to conduct their work safely.

The purpose of our Safety Program is to:

• Provide a general guide to safe practices and procedures that are essential to the continued safety of employees, protection of the public, and provide a safe and healthful work environment.
• To ensure that each employee is orientated, trained, and made aware of the safety provisions that are implemented.

We have modeled our Safety Program after many of our customer's programs and are in strict compliance with all OSHA and EPA rules and regulations. 

Weekly safety meetings are conducted by field or safety supervisors and documentation is maintained at the job sites.  Also, a daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) safety meeting is conducted to review safety criteria changes, duty changes, or to discuss any specific safety concerns pertaining to the current job.

U. O. Group has a strict Drug/Alcohol/Contraband Interaction Policy that is adhered to and monitored closely to ensure no misuse of illegal drugs or alcohol by our employees.
